Medium Studio Study 3

For this study, I really wanted to focus on colors I like and how they work together. I wanted to strip back the busy layers and play with a single focus. This color combination can be seen in this series in “Nectar” and is one I’m sure will make an appearance in future work. I think I like it even better with the unintentional light purple around it.
There is a familiar comfort in this size of artwork. It’s that classic, mid-sized scale that many of us are used to seeing beautifully framed on a living room wall, centered over an entryway console, or anchoring a favorite corner. While this original piece comes unframed, its dimensions make it incredibly easy to fit into standard, ready-made frames to match your personal style.
