Medium Studio Study 5, Farmer’s Market

This piece holds a really special place in this release because it is one of the very first truly illustrative pieces I’ve ever made available. Stepping into this illustrative style felt incredibly natural, and it's a direction I am planning on integrating a lot more into my future collections. I loved the challenge of painting the mesh texture of the bag overlapping the shapes of the fruit inside, and anchoring the whole scene with that bright yellow lemon at the bottom.
There is a familiar comfort in this size of artwork. It’s that classic, mid-sized scale that many of us are used to seeing beautifully framed on a living room wall, centered over an entryway console, or anchoring a favorite corner. While this original piece comes unframed, its dimensions make it incredibly easy to fit into standard, ready-made frames to match your personal style.
